CRAMAN LAGARDE, faithful to the works of the great French Cabinet-Makers, perpetuates an ancestral known-how in reissuing and creating superb pieces of furniture, manufactured according to the traditional methods used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
CRAMAN LAGARDE company was founded in 1947 by Henri Craman and Jean Lagarde, on completion of their common apprenticeship, became a Public Limited Company in 1969.
Since their requirement, the actual society is today managed by Jean-Paul Craman and his wife, Jœlle Craman and they are representing the family's fifth generation of Cabinet-Makers.

Manufacture very high quality furniture is based on the ancestral known-how, so much as the technics: careful regard for styles and aesthetic, mastery of the hand-made methods or in the attentive choice of rare woods, clear varnishes, sharpness of gilt-bronze mounts …. Those different points make our difference compared to others manufactures which seem similar.
